It's incredible how many people insist Rian is a hack and a terrible filmmaker when he has multiple bangers under his belt, just because they didn't like The Last Jedi. Like yeah, it's a really messy movie with some pretty big missteps, but there was a vision behind it. Has JJ Abrams ever had a coherent vision for fucking anything he's ever made?
