People watching that stuff are numerous enough to make a ton of those grifters a lot of money, but I don't think they're large enough to hold very significant influence. Like Tim Poole's channel viewership is comparable to the video console repair channel I like watching, and I imagine watching someone repair consoles is on the more obscure side of interests.
