That would require the DSA to be not as shitty as AOC. They peddle the same bullshit about the "Norwegian Model" and shut down any communists that object to the imperialism required to maintain it.

I dont think DSA has the capacity to run any congressional candidates that are "DSA candidate" in the sense that state or local reps can be who have their entire campaigns basically run by DSA and come from the org or other class struggle organizations. AOC, Rashida, Bowman, and Cori are not really "dsa candidates' in any meaningful sense beyond having some connections and collaboration between us, but they also serve other important roles that I think makes sense to not have that relation severed.

Im well aware of that group, but theyre mostly from outside of DSA/ Cosmonaut affiliated and while i agree with some of this i dont think they have a good grasp on this. Not even in NYC, where DSA is the strongest and we see the org starting to act as its own independent party in some way, would we be able to mount a real congressional campaign, we tried with Samelys and got wrecked. National races just depend too much on a much broader coalition of non profits and orgs for DSA to single handedly run a winning campaign and put "our" candidate in office. We can only really tag along and try to have as much influence as we can through out involvement in the campaign.

yeah i dont think these will make it through its a bit too broad i feel for a national platform, even tho like the first resolution is what we should build towards and implement for state and local races more concretely

Why was Justice Democrats, a small group of ex-Bernie staffers, able to do it then? And an org with close to 100,000 people. And its being pushed by people from Cosmonaut and Marxists who are in the DSA.
