Pretty much title. Still planning on social distancing, wearing a mask, etc etc etc. Is it safe to do anything or is it still same old same old?

I'm not even a social person but fuck I'm at that point where I need to do something.

ETA, I had my second shot last Friday, so fully vaccinated in a week, not just second shot

You can smooch other vaccinated people for sure.

Fear not, they've been added to the watchlist. We'll know if the smooching progresses beyond what can be considered safe levels

I got my second one about a month ago, and honestly my life hasn't changed much, beyond having somewhat less anxiety about catching COVID myself. Unless you have friends or family that are also fully vaccinated, you still can't really hang out in person like in the Before Times, and masking up in public is still likely to be a norm for quite a while yet. I expect things to start shifting socially around June, when significant swaths of the population will be fully vaccinated, and limited get-togethers with loved ones will once again be possible, but I wouldn't be surprised to see significant portions of the population still wearing masks in public this time next year. Just be cautious in your interactions, and remember that even if you're at a much lower risk now, you may still pose a risk to others--especially more vulnerable members of the population.
