Always cool when a AAA full-priced game requires a movie, a TV show, multiple DLCs and the complete remaking of its final act just to have what could be considered a plot.
Star wars episode 3 did it first, you had to read supplemental material to get the plot in the beginning. Absolute bullshit and a marketing scam. That's why I don't want to fuck with FFXV.

This movie is the fucking prequel to the FF XV game this time, because the "dudes rock" plot was too incoherent without an entire standalone film.
The movie is just pure wank. The plot of the game is pretty simple - an evil empire takes over the small kingdom your guy is the prince of and you have to absorb the powers of your ancestors and a bunch of elemental monsters to defeat them.
