    This is your brain on patriarchy. This entire post is premised on the ideology that the father knows everything and is the supreme ruler of the family.

    Believing that you can't learn things from your offspring is extremely insecure. I dream of a day that I can learn from my offspring. Each generation should be more class conscious and revolutionary than the previous.

    You would not even have to tell your friends that your kid taught you something. Read theory and then tell your friends that you read a book. Reading books is far less embarrassing than telling your friends that you formed your opinion based on a video you watched of another boomer ranting from their car on facebook.

        I think he's referring to OP's dad's brain as having patriarchy brainworms. Your take on the situation is a valid interpretation.

        It doesnt necessarily say anything about patriarchy brainworms in your brain, but since we are all immersed in this shitty culture from birth, we all have them to some extent.
