if any subgroup of heavily online misogynists were to co-opt anarchist language about sex it would be PUAs since they measure their self-worth in bedpost notches. Incels rarely want free love because they think if anybody can just fuck anybody at any time under any pretext then it's cheapened, just another meaningless thing you do socially like seeing live music or drinking at a bar

incels want the sacred tradwife, perfectly preserved from birth for them and them alone, who will love and adore them and bear them two dozen children no matter how much of a worthless piece of shit they are

They want women for the same reason a boomer dad wants an expensive car and an expensive house. Because they think it would mean they've 'won at life' and give them a sense of worth. It's not about love.

of course not, but feeling like they're obtaining love is part of the 'won at life' image they're chasing

It seems like many incels not just want to fuck (for free) but want affection, romance, romantic relationships. Freer sexual norms won't lead to more woman getting serious with ugly awkward dudes, it would probably make it worse for them in this regard.

It's a chicken and egg thing, isn't it? There are perfectly normal-looking dudes who get into this ideology because there are not confident and are afraid to get out there and risk rejection. There are also awkward ugly dudes who probably wouldn't have turned into bitter woman-haters if they were good looking. Not saying that that's a right reaction to being awkward and ugly though.

I mean, beauty is a social construct to an extent but even if we agree that it's 100% arbitrary, would you disagree that there are people whom most people around them find unattractive? I think there are people like that and being treated like that can really fuck with person's confidence when they're growing up.
