No it's not. How can you fucking listen to members of the state department literally involved in the longterm strategic planning of this shit and then completely and totally dismiss it as bullshit?
You literally just heard it from the horse's mouth.
You're poking your fingers in your ears and screaming "lalalalalala". It's fucking embarrassing behaviour. You've literally closed your eyes and ears to anything except what you're fed by US policy institutes and their media tendrils.
Nah that's bullshit. Countries that don't want to upset anyone just abstain from making a statement. These countries took more of a hit to their diplomatic relationships in the world by coming out in support instead of being cucked by western imperialist attempt to disrupt the Xinjiang region because of its strategic importance to the Belt and Road trade initiative.
Here, listen to it straight from Former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State in an incredibly honest mask-off moment before any of this bullshit even started.
Attempting to cause unrest and disrupt Xinjiang was of extremely strategic value to the US because Xinjiang is a key bottleneck in the Belt and Road initiative.
What methods would you use to transition the current situation into revolution? Obviously there is an electrification in the country but the people aren't armed very well as far as I know and definitely aren't seasoned in fighting with the state.
Trots running leftist media company in the UK. Quite well known. They're okay when operating entirely within the boundaries of electoral politics within the UK and absolute dogshit on anything outside of that.
It's always the trots! 🤡🤡🤡
Lmao you posted this because 90% of this story is a ridiculous fucking lie right?
I hope they're good and still about. They posted good stuff and I was always looking forwards to their posts.
All this means is that the bourgeoisie in China seems under the control of the CCP for now.
I misread this at first to be you claiming the bourgeoisie control the CPC and was about to go off.
I can say as a person that runs a 300k+ subscriber subreddit that we ran a test with blocking/hiding points and it had absolutely no noticeable change in user behaviour on the subreddit in terms of how people communicated or interacted with each other or what kinds of posts were reaching the top vs junk in the community.
What behavioural positives have we seen so far? I haven't seen anything notable. I think chapo's frontpage for the past 2 years is a result of the libbification of the subreddit crossing the threshold from small community into large community pulling in users from lib places like latestagecapitalism and bernie subs. I don't think you can attribute that to points otherwise it would ALSO have been bad beforehand too, points were there the whole time. A global score doesn't affect what people vote up and down either, how people choose to vote remains the same no matter what.
This kind of discussion should be as quantitative as possible and avoid qualitative assessment because it's really easy to get lost in that area.
95% :')
I think it's extremely naive to think that they don't work to generate activity you want people to do.
I don't REALLY care about them, but in a choice between taking the time to crosspost for no real gain and taking the time to crosspost for a fake perceived reward? The latter is more likely to have the outcome desired. And we do desire people crossposting, right?
The only people with an actual incentive currently are the community mods seeking to populate those comms. No incentive, nobody doing it. KiaKaha here could have hit the crosspost button to do it too but did a comment instead, bizarrely, which isn't necessarily a useful outcome either.
There are literally 2 words about China in this post and the rest of it is entirely centred around USSR, Cuba and the Soviets as a whole. Jog on.
In their minds: Anyone that supports Stalin.
Is there an incentive to do that? ;D
...But yeah I'll do it
