Good god I would love a transcript or video of that argument.

Turkey is good. Last year I made my first one, and it went pretty well! Now, last year I was using my folks' kitchen, and this year I'll be using my own, but I'm still excited for it. I bought a small turkey this year, since it's just me, and I'll be eating leftovers for days afterwards.
I would say there's more evidence for that being true for Spain than for Germany. Like, there were explicitly anti-clerical elements in the Spanish government. While that position was correct, it's a fundamentally dangerous one to a broad cross section of Spanish society. Whereas the threat in Germany was to the Junkers and established industrialists.
Plus it's hard to compare the incredibly fractious civil society of Spain to that of Germany. The government was incredibly weak in Spain (of all stripes) compared to that of Germany. The Weimar republic was weak, but the states were still strong under Weimar. Spain had nothing that compared.
It's gonna be wild when they actually do the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Probably for April Fool's next year.
Dunno, the largest one being named "Pure Brazilian" seems a little race-sciency. Kinda sus.
Aren't these guys yet another nu-metal band who went full chud?
My childhood music was a mistake.
Holy crap. Like a year ago they were incredibly lib, wanting to "work with the landlords" and opposed to even talking about tenant unions.
I find he’s got pretty pedestrian takes on pop culture, most of them just are a combination of contrariness and “it used to be better”. Even if you dress your takes up in socialist clothing, they’re still starting from that boring starting point. And just to be clear, I do agree with him sometimes, Lovecraft Country being the most obvious example, but I don't think he brings anywhere near the insight to pop culture that he does to politics and civics.
Whippets can live up to 15 years! That's pretty long for a dog.
Is CASTRO CHAVISTA even a thing?
I honestly kinda feel bad for him (yes, I probably shouldn't). He's just such a sad sack, and gets completely owned by Trump constantly.

Ok, I'll start poking around tonight to see if I can find them all.
I'd say Adam Curtis, but to be honest, I've only seen Hypernormalisation. But I looked up his filmography, and wow he's got a lot of other documentaries.
So I think I'll check them out, some of them sound pretty based.
If a small group of HK protesters waving a sign asking for American intervention sets off our biggest fight we deserve it for our aimlessness.
(Now how do I turn off reply notifications? Asking for a friend)
There's no way he's a CIA asset, unless he's the greatest actor in all of history. He'd have told EVERYONE.
Kinda like the opening.ceremonies of the olympics, but less bonkers.
