From what I've read, its essentially proposed that the routes were pre-programmed into the planes. That link details the history of GPS-based autopilots and looks at the paths taken by a few of the planes. In my opinion remote hacking was probably not necessary since the planes were likely known entities to whatever elements pulled this off. So they would have had physical access to the planes before the attacks.

I would say the biggest indictment of the Flight 93 being shot down theory is the crash site. There was virtually zero visible debris, which would not be consistent with how a normal plane crash might look. There was just one, fairly small smoldering hole in the ground. The official narrative is that 95% of the plane was found submerged deep in this tiny hole. It should also be noted that nobody has ever seen this alleged 95% that was recovered.

It's also worth noting that a lot of debris was found within a 1-2 mile radius from the crash site, which would be consistent with a plane that was shot down.

But I haven't seen a single explanation to my original point. If there was like, evidence of another site in the country where it looked like a plane may have been shot down or something, I might be sold on it, but none of that seems to exist.
