  • Seriously both Kotor games are guilty of this (but especially Kotor 1).

You have to be cartoonishly evil at times in order to progress down the dark side. I've never done it, but I'm curious to try a dark side playthrough where I remain somewhat neutral on the more unnecessarily evil options (like outright threatening to kill someone for asking for money) and just pick options that I think a power hungry sith wannabe would choose.

I'm actually a fan of this guy. His main goal seems to be helping extremely online people move forward in their life and as a licensed therapist he's probably at least somewhat qualified to try and do that. Also I believe he provides free therapy to some of his patients because they can't afford it, and whenever he talks about health care and health insurance in the country it seems pretty based.

Most importantly, I think, Is that he's probably reaching a lot of alienated and otherwise disenfranchised demographics that would otherwise fall into the alt-right youtube pipeline, so that's good thing.

This may be speculative theory I saw on one of the lore youtubers. But I believe the undead curse was cast on humans after Gwyn linked the first flame (The First Sin as referenced in DS2) in order to unnaturally perpetuate the age of fire. This curse would drive humans to commit their souls/humanity to the linked fire (via bonfires) without truly dying, in which they would serve as empty vessels (Hollows) to continue seeking additional souls/humanity that they could feed into the fire thus extending its power even further.

I agree the rest of the lore stuff pretty much goes unanswered to my disappointment. And yes all this lore has flimsy structure at best and clearly was not intended to be looked into on any sort of analytical basis. And no I will not be apologizing for wasting my time by analyzing it.
