I think there are a bunch of academics in Scandinavian countries who have advocated for a paper abortion for men to wash hands from the responsibility of child-raising (I was under the impression this was already the case in Denmark but apparently not). Sounds asinine but maybe workable in a society where there is strong childcare support (or better yet families are not the sole mode for raising kids).

I am not sure which campuses this is the case in but ime CS is one of the more privileged departments (you can code from home, greater funding, etc etc). Departments with lab work (Chem, Phys, Bio) is where I have heard the most horror stories (work at the lab 12 hrs per day).

Hmm don't wanna be uber pedantic but wouldn't you need a pretty good set-up to be able to emulate a switch? Also, pirates are the only reason we can probably enjoy older titles decades from now. For instance, Nintendo shutting down the 3ds online store would mean all those games are going to be only accessible by emulation so thank god for pirates.
