It seems the person in question didn't report this income and therefore didn't pay taxes on it.
I feel like your completely glossing over the whole increased risk of rape and violence aspect that prostitution involves compared to wage labor.
This is such a lib take that it pains me to read it. The whole post is worth a read, btw.

Such a complete misunderstanding of the industry is the result of a flattening of distinctions between all work and a misunderstanding of Marxist theory. Wage labor is exploitative because of the surplus value extracted from the workers' labor. Prostitution is sexual exploitation because it feeds off of extreme vulnerability to maintain a class of prostitutes, coerces sex through money and power, and exposes those women to high amounts of rape and violence. Not all work involves coercive sex, not all work comes with the high risk of rape and male violence in whatever legal context it operates under. Not all work puts the body and it’s component parts on the market to be bought, sold, and rented at will to the highest bidder.
The only one I know of is this totally real note from the Falun Gong:

I'm pretty sure that you meant the blue aliens one, but Jet was right.
Lemmygrad was too busy marveling at trains to get on the right one.
The only viable path to peace for Palestine/Israel that doesn't involve ethnic cleansing is a federated one state solution.
Pistachios are a scapegoat for the actual consumer of the majority of agricultural water in the southwest: alfalfa for livestock feed.
Most people don't even realize that the idea of the Cold War was invented by the US.
Potatus et Molassus shall be played at my funeral.
I feel like this admittedly old but still very relevant piece by Edward Said makes some good points. Notably:
What exists now is a disheartening, not to say, bloody, impasse. Zionists in and outside Israel will not give up on their wish for a separate Jewish state; Palestinians want the same thing for themselves, despite having accepted much less from Oslo. Yet in both instances, the idea of a state for ''ourselves'' simply flies in the face of the facts: short of ethnic cleansing or ''mass transfer,'' as in 1948, there is no way for Israel to get rid of the Palestinians or for Palestinians to wish Israelis away. Neither side has a viable military option against the other, which, I am sorry to say, is why both opted for a peace that so patently tries to accomplish what war couldn't.
and
The beginning is to develop something entirely missing from both Israeli and Palestinian realities today: the idea and practice of citizenship, not of ethnic or racial community, as the main vehicle for coexistence. In a modern state, all its members are citizens by virtue of their presence and the sharing of rights and responsibilities. Citizenship therefore entitles an Israeli Jew and a Palestinian Arab to the same privileges and resources. A constitution and a bill of rights thus become necessary for getting beyond Square 1 of the conflict because each group would have the same right to self-determination; that is, the right to practice communal life in its own (Jewish or Palestinian) way, perhaps in federated cantons, with a joint capital in Jerusalem, equal access to land and inalienable secular and juridical rights. Neither side should be held hostage to religious extremists.
The aide accused China, India and also Türkiye of “earning money” on the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.
Was Blinken off to the side holding up cue cards for him?
I fully agree, and I feel the logic follows that the only actual path to peace for Israel/Palestine is a sort of de-Balkanization, a one-state solution where the one state in question can't be Israel or Palestine.
Gith get free misty step and jump, tho...
17 million per episode is low budget to you?
I didn't feel like being vindictive to a person that was about to be fucked up, down, and sideways with hospital bills because of this shit hole country's healthcare system.
On the flip side: some old dude ended up in the hospital because he rode his ebike into the back of my husband's car. No helmet, didn't even attempt to brake, bystander said it looked like the dude even sped up before the collision. We even declined the cop's offer to issue the dude a citation. Insurance auto defaulted to finding the car driver at fault. Inattentive morons on ebikes are still inattentive morons.
I have nothing against ebikes, but I think they deserve stricter safety requirements like required helmets and better brakes.
Reject Sabra, embrace 25 pound bags of dried chickpeas. And a note to add for your recipe for anyone new to homemade hummus: tahini can vary wildly in how strong it tastes. Start with 1/4 cup and add more to taste.
