Everything about this is fucking amazing.

  1. The fact that this guy's name is technically Dick Tack
  2. The fact that he describes himself as a Polymath and Anti-Communist
  3. That he has 21.8 THOUSAND posts on Quora
  4. The fact that he does not answer the asked question at all, but that he instead launches into an insane Boomer rant about how he and his friends would be judgemental against anybody who orders an alcoholic drink with milk in it because it is "girly"
  5. That, despite referring to himself as a "Polymath", he supposedly had to Google what "liquor" meant

And of course he's British, only an Anglo could act like this and think it makes him look cool.

Bailey's is great, but I guess Real Men only drink beverages that taste like turpentine :shrug-outta-hecks:

Closed palettes tend to reflect closed minds. Imagine being all like “ewww no I don’t eat Korean food” or “what the fuck is this savory shit, real Americans only eat corn with sugar”. Dietary restrictions aside, of course.

Oh, I’m sorry. I should have been more thoughtful regarding the reasons people avoid foods. I truly did not intend to take a shot at ND comrades. I was trying to line up a shot against the type of whitey who refuses to try “ethnic food”

Nah I gotcha. I guess you could count my food aversions as a dietery restriction, but they’re not really consistent. I think “ Closed palettes tend to reflect closed minds” was just too broad of a generalization. But I more or less knew what you meant, so no worries

Thanks for reading both critically and empathetically. We really need a leftist dictionary or something lol for dumbasses like me

Thanks for making an exception for dietary restrictions and not food aversion, which I suffer from. Nice to know I have a "closed mind" for something beyond my control!

I’m simply ignorant here ~~ How are those exclusive? Like if somebody simply can’t stomach something regardless of the reason wouldn’t that fall under a restriction being imposed on them? I’m trying here~~ But more importantly I failed. I truly am sorry.

Edit: struck through the bullshit the excuses. The apology is truly the part that want to come across. I was wrong to use the phrasing I did.

How the duck do strike through a work?

Funny thing is, transitioning has made me more comfortable with the fact that I only like drinks that taste good lmao

transitioning makes us discard a lot of stupid notions like that. i still mostly enjoy drinks that taste like cough syrup, tho :shrug-outta-hecks:

It's great cause on the one hand, no weirdness over fruity drinks, and on the other, some specific HRT meds fuck with your tolerance so you dont have to drink as much to drink to get a buzz going, saving money.

Though tbf that might be a concern over getting too drunk, if only I ever visited bars so that would be a real danger.

I don't really like baileys, it's too sweet and it doesn't taste like real alcohol.

I probably am biased against it because the first time I had it I'd already been drinking for a while and had had two shots of 60% gin neat and two shots of 40% vodka in the minute before I had it and then I continued to drink for a while after. My vomit tasted of bailey's and it was very unappetising.
