Anyway obviously Hamas are a bunch of deranged freaks for taking some stimulants before going into battle. Unlike our wholesome IOF doing peaceful and cool drugs.
Proves once and for all that psychedelics don't actually make you a good person.
I wish a very traumatizing trip upon this occupier when a rain of missiles begins flying.
This sounds like a great way to get extremely brutal PTSD when something bad happens
Yeah, for those who don't know, LSD increases nueroplasticity. As in, it makes it easier to train your brain into new patterns: it makes it more like a toddler brain.
So just like ACEs are more impactful at younger ages, war trauma hits harder on LSD
(ACEs = Adverse Childhood Experiences)
So should people be learning difficult math and new languages and reading theory while high on LSD?
Can't hurt to try, but also, I've had things I'm studying click while I was tripping
That was literally my first thought, too. Like, LSD will make me learn better? Why the hell haven't I heard this before

Posts that make me think we should re-criminalize weed, perhaps alcohol and dancing as well.

Problem is that we can't control what would be learned better. CIA had a lot of experiments with LSD and not a lot of success.
Weren't those mostly focused on it's use as a truth serum though?
They tried every use they could think of. The only successes were in "really fucking people up" direction.

Not while obviously, but I think the couple days afterwards would be best
This must be why tech bros microdose.
sadly reading is hard on lsd because all the other departments of your brain are vying for attention too
Yeah, there's a reason microdosing LSD is such a big deal in STEM
good, it's the least the fascist soldiers deserve
The guy's a conscript. He's forced to be a soldier. IMO he's a victim too.
No he's not. He could flee the country, he could go to prison, he could permanently injure himsel. There are many ways to simply not be a footsoldier for a genocidal regime.
In case you weren't aware, there was an israeli Taylor Swift fan who ran a fan account on Twitter who famously went to prison rather than participate in genocide.
True I would refuse too. But I know I'm particularly anti-authoritarian. I can imagine this would be a big deal for some young people especially with family and social pressure going on.
Refusing isn’t that long of a prison sentence.
It's not? When I was young in the Netherlands it was a big deal. Luckily I got disqualified on the medical.
But I would have expected it to be a huge deal in Israel.
It's generally a few months I believe.
yeah, a few months and they even split it up in to a few weeks at a time, wherein they ask you "you sure?" then a few weeks later you spend another few weeks in prison
Oh wow
