Whenever I've seen a person say they got banned from hexbear unfairly I check the modlog and they were repeatedly saying something racist or transphobic. It's every single time lmao

I asked for an example of Hexbear defending Trump but they owned me with downvotes

      Show no example

When Democrats blatantly work with Republicans, or roll over when the Republicans push even slightly: It's fine, that's just politics

When a fringe internet forum isn't as critical of the Orange Man as liberal media is, and also criticizes Biden: They're secretly right wing Trump supporters

Hexbear is even more critical of Orange Man than the liberal media though, they actually talk about his policies and political decisions, not just "there's a dang cheeto in the white house!"

They see it as being "pro-Trump" because hexbear holds democrats to the same standard and doesn't let the same shit slide with them.

When Joe Biden stands up in front of a joint session of congress for his inaugural state of the union address and declares we need to fund the police, then diverts Covid funding to the police in the middle of a pandemic which cost over a million lives, that isn't authoritarianism. When communists say genocidaires deserve to be minced like an onion, THAT is authoritarianism.

Imagine debating with the peasants instead of just flinging them in to the moat iwth a catapult while taking big sloppy bites out of your giant leg of something and spilling ale from your gem encrusted chalice.

and that is why we should ban them, and anyone who allows them on their platform

I can't tell if this is just projection or if we really come across this way. I know some users get mad and have some snarky repartee and our emoji game is legendary, but I feel like every time I remember these libs showing up they were given real arguments when asked. I dunno if there's any point to caring and trying harder, maybe agony arguing at all is too much for these guys. It just makes me nervous.

Nah, it's very much them editorializing to leave out the parts where they were invariably explained the error of their thinking and then proceeded to double and triple down. Our loveable and indispensable nerds love explaining historical and theoretical things to people

It's just the snarky reddit-logo users getting mad because they never tried to engage in good faith and rightly got pigpoopballsed.

They dismiss the real arguments because we also call them a fucking idiot in the same comment and they believe that makes it an ad hominem attack.

Edit: This is not meant to suggest that I will or we should stop calling them fucking idiots. They are fucking idiots, and such fucking idiots they don't even know how ad hominem arguments work.
