thanks for your consideration! I had a similar experience to Ash and just never liked it. Too much of my childhood spent being called a f-- for it to ever feel good. Although I guess getting over that is part of the process of reclamation.
I think that's a good policy, something I've realised from this lil thread is I agree completely with both sides of the argument - I adore the idea of removing the power from these words, making them affirmative for US, but I also see that they have sour histories and have hurt many of our comrades. I'm kinda stuck, cognitively..
