My favorite is when they say “I know Republicans are worse in every way but Democrats can’t solve a decades old issue in another part of the world so I’m just not going to vote and let Republicans win”

Ah the good old "it's not Biden's fault that there's a genocide going on"

My favorite has to be this one comment :

far left: works in theory, but has never worked in practice. far right: has worked for as long as empires have existed.

I'm not even sure I 100% understand what they are trying to say since the empires he is probably talking about don't exist anymore (unless he is aware of the US one).

I hope time travel gets invented so that they can go to Rome, get enslaved, and die in the asbestos mines.

I refuse to interact with anyone who says "coMmuNiSm onlY wOrkS In tHEorY!"

It's the most level-0 anti-communist talking point out there, so it's automatically indicative that anyone who says it isn't educated enough to entertain without wanting to bash your skull in. They want to sound like they have a solid argument against communism without actually knowing anything about it basically. It's how you know they truly fell for the capitalist propaganda bait.

At the most charitable interpretation it still makes that person look like a dipshit. "The stateless, moneyless, classless society envisioned as the highest state of communism has never been achieved, therefore mild social democracy can't work".

seeing the "works in theory, not in practice" argument in the year of our lord 2024 after being in my cosy Hexbear+literature bubble is like being a quantum physicist writing groundbreaking papers on chromodynamics and only talking to his colleagues about the latest theories and developments and then walking down the street and hearing a guy explaining to his friend that he thinks the world is made of fire, air, earth, and water

Yea Biden doesn't have to solve the issue himself. All he has to do is stop sending weapons and giving diplomatic support all the time.

It's so easy. It's the one time he can win by literally doing nothing, yet he refuses to do so. THE W IS RIGHT THERE OLD MAN!

      a decades old issue

At least the OP knows that "centuries" is a mistake. A lot of talking heads use pundit copypasta.

Other decades old problems closer to home for the imperial core ghoul:

      -Abortion rights -Healthcare -College debt

To name a few. But then they'll just pull out the "Republicans are too obstructionistwojak-nooo " argument. Or how even when the Democrats have a majority, but you have spoiler representatives (Liberman, Manchin, Semna, etc) you still need those Democrats around or else the Republicans would have power.

That's the problem, he thinks he is solving it

It's just his idea of solving it is letting Israel kill or drive out everyone they don't like
