The way they try to emphasize that Trump's felony conviction for filing his taxes wrong somehow makes him less fit for president than a man who has legally slaughtered hundreds of thousands of people is kind of sick in an i am screaming in the prison of my mind way.

Me screaming in the prison of my mind when I say that I'm extra skeptical of Harvard's alumni instead of looking up to them. They'll advocate for dogshit about terrorizing people with drones or fixing bread prices

I know this is nitpicking but when you have Trump money, filing your taxes wrong to your significant benefit should earn this kind of derision. The problem is that it never does unless it's in some way convenient for enough other people who benefit from filing their taxes wrong.

I do agree with the sentiment that in the real world a crime against humanity is infinitely more meaningful than a felony and there's a reason that there's less focus on the Trump administration's crimes against humanity.

But committing fraud isn't the only thing wrong with Trump. Trump is personally responsible for the deaths of over half a million Americans, through his corrupt, malicious incompetence in handling the Covid pandemic. He's also responsible for the deaths of thousands of Afghans after his craven surrender to the Taliban and his refusal to help those who fought there with us escape. His backstabbing of the Kurds led to similar numbers of deaths. His family separation policy was also a crime against humanity that was perpetrated against thousands of children. But don't let any of that get in the way of your narrative. Just keep repeating the talking points.

You should go look up Trump's role in the Yemeni genocide, friend. You're really just scratching the surface.

And my point is that Trump's felony conviction, specifically, and not his countless crimes against humanity, is what libs are holding up as the dealbreaker for his presidency. Most of them don't care about the crimes you mentioned. For them a trumped up felony conviction matters and the murder of hundreds of thousands does not.
