You are right though, like literally a few years ago when I was working retail and I wasn't thinking about gender all that much
and all I did differently was grow out my hair people would """mistake"""(??) me for a woman all the time
Sometimes they would """correct"""(??) themselves after they got a closer look at me and that was kinda funny lol
Had to cut it for nearly pointless reason but I am growing it out again now
I've never heard of this book but I will look it up
