today was p great. partner made pasta w/ nettle pesto, we went to sauna & then watched Gremlins together w/ the offspring :3 Alone Time time now. not sure if i'll be able to finish this movie, but y'know, that's really not something i'm looking to sweat over right now.
kinda feels like the air is tar lately. hopefully things will get easier soon. we've still got some figuring out to do re : injections, but i think maybe the change of scenery alone will have a positive impact on my well-being.
i should make a nettle pesto, i have some growing in my garden
we're actually gonna bring some seeds to plant at the commune. partner's been making all kindsa shit out of it & it's super cool. like, i'd heard old-timers bring up nettle soup before, but i just never really thought about what else you could do with it. it was always just "that fuck-faced weed i'd magically fall into a bush of." & i mean, we gotta sort out the patch out back anyway, before we leave. it's getting out of control lmao
i've made nettle risotto in the past, that's always good. i should learn more ways to use it, it's absolutely everywhere in the uk
Finland here. yes, it's everywhere. moving to this apartment, i was kinda hoping to maybe grow some stuff out back, but i guess it woulda just been choked out by the nettles anyway.
