I see, is there any other programs that you'd use or would that just be your main pixel art creator? Sounds fun, I've been curious about doing pixel art but haven't dabbled yet.

I'm not sure. I'll certainly run into some issues when trying to make beast-people/laguz, so I may need to add stuff like tails and ears using something else. I have no idea what's out there though, and I've never been good at art, drawing, or any of that, so I'll probably just be using this software mostly, if I can figure out how to add blinking and mouth movement frames.

I will! I love getting to create something, and my special interest in FE proved to be great enough to push me. I'm now writing a full story, something I've experienced blocks with before, and thinking about designing a game other people can enjoy makes me happy.

          but...

Now I just have to hope I can finish it, and that I'm not in over my head.

Having something as a special interest certainly helps push me through some stuff. It's trying to keep focused on it long enough to finish that can be the tricky part. I would say if it's a special interest that you rotate in and out it should make it easier to come back to if you do move on. But it can be frustrating when that happens. At least you'll have a body of work to come back to when you next feel that pull if it does happen.

Yeah. I'm hoping it doesn't happen, or that I've done enough to where I can keep working on it, but my interests do rotate a lot. Luckily for me though, it seems like it's an interest I can come back to.

Handy when that happens, I have a few that rotate every so often so I usually keep what I'm working on backed up so I can go back to it when it comes around again.
