The ETR 600 is a class of trains built by Alstom, and are used on the routes between Roma-Bolzano and Roma-Trieste. The train tilts, using Pendolino technology, allowing higher speeds to be maintained through corners without causing discomfort to passengers. The trains are operated by Trenitalia, originally under the Frecciargento (Silver Arrow) branding used for trains capable of travelling between 250 km/h and 285 km/h, In 2022 they were rebranded under Frecciarossa (Red Arrow) after the Frecciargento branding was retired.

The ETR 600 has also been adapted for use in China as the China Railway CRH5 Hexie. Initially 60 sets were ordered, of which nine were manufactured by Alstom and 51 by CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles. Since, another 80 sets have been created for a total of 140, operating across China's north from Beijing to Ürümqi.

Yes it is that EP! Let me know what you think. That one and F# A# Infinity are two incredible early records.

They took a 10 year hiatus and came back with Allejuah! Don’t Bend! Ascend! Probably goes the hardest of their entire discography.

I honestly adore their entire discography.

I may have bought the vinyl for NO TITLE. It really got to me in a powerful way ... some of it was so hard to listen to ... some of it was so hopeful ... I am trying not to cry. I will try to listen to their other albums as well but this one will probably stick with me for a long time.

the closest thing I could find to a description of the album was this:

              genocide
              THE PLAIN TRUTH==
              we drifted through it, arguing.
every day a new war crime, every day a flower bloom.
we sat down together and wrote it in one room,
and then sat down in a different room, recording.
NO TITLE= what gestures make sense while tiny bodies fall? what context? what broken melody?
and then a tally and a date to mark a point on the line, the negative process, the growing pile.
the sun setting above beds of ash
              while we sat together, arguing.
the old world order barely pretended to care.
this new century will be crueler still.
              war is coming.
              don’t give up.
              pick a side.
              hang on.
              love.
              GY!BE

              so beautifully said..

This is how Godspeed feels for me too. It is just such powerful art. If it is ever available to you, try to see them live. It is a transcendant experience.

I love godspeed posting, so please tag me if you ever feel the inspiration. trans-heart

Last thing, listen to the last track off their record God’s Pee at State’s End. It has left me almost overtaken with emotion when it hits right.

I listened to G_d's Pee (lol, it was letterized like that) and I liked it too. F#A#'s second track hit me hard though, jeez, even the name of it really got to me, used to drive through it every day...

The car’s on fire, and there is no driver at the wheel…

Their early stuff including F# A#, Lift Your Skinny Fists, Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada and to a lesser extent Yanqui UXO(this is my current favorite of their early/pre 10 year hiatus) are all such consistently good records.

Most prefer their early stuff and I get it, the post hiatus stuff speaks to me more likely cause the latter of it came out when I experienced my own political awakening and it still fills me with that radical hope to keep pushing. I also just love that an explicitly anarchist 10 piece(8 musicians, 2 projectionists) touring outfit can exist in this day and age against all odds.

Also they have been touring with this(not my picture)
