Xenia, the fox girl mascot of Linux, was first designed in 1996 by Alan Mackey. She was meant to be an alternative to Tux, the official mascot.

She had fallen into obscurity, but was noticed by a Twitter user in 2019 and was redrawn as a fox girl. But as it turned out, Xenia was originally meant to be male! The original creator, Alan, was cool with this, saying "It matches the transition of a lot of the smartest, nerdiest Linux users I know" and "And sure, you made her trans!".

So now we have a trans Linux mascot. And I think that's neat.

The journey has to end somewhere, the ride has to run out of energy eventually. Wherever you end up, I'm sure you'll feel at home (and also probably enlightened). I honestly don't know if I'm getting off yet, like I said, I feel like I post something of this vein every other week. Idk though, it feels like I'm reaching the end as well. If this is really the end, it was a fun ride catgirl-salute

Also, we should have a pronoun option that just says "not he/him." Feel like it would get a lot of mileage actually, lol

YES PLEASE!!! I would actually legitimately use that, I feel like I am fine with any pronouns, and I'll suck up he/him in order to use all others, but I would prefer it not be used for me.
