        Maybe cynical but I'm genuinely beginning to believe that at least 80% of white folk involved in the Struggle are only here for free healthcare, rent control, UBI, or higher minimum wages; and the minute they get it, they'll fuck off.         TBH a couple of mods need to be removed. My account was about a week old and I made the mistake of disagreeing with a mod about home invasions and maybe not shooting people right away who enter your home. Mod deleted not only my comments towards them, but also comments elsewhere in the thread (including me shitting on Clinton) and an unrelated thread about making a YouTube block list.

        Same mod works at a prison lmao

        Edit: the mod is a teacher at a prison and made a thread about it months ago. Said how bad they felt because no one cares about the prisoners. So during this discussion, I thought maybe they'd have some empathy with burglars or even people confusedly entering the wrong home. I was temp banned before I could point out this person would have shot those same people they teach.

        I dunno. Maybe I was in the wrong and was projecting anger towards settlers. I did go full meme mode after losing my patience, which probably didn't help. You can find the thread if you look at my post history because it's the only "deleted by moderator" comments.

      It's been a fucking week on this godforsaken hellforum. Honestly, if you'd told me just three months ago, that all it'd take for a disturbing majority of regular Hexbear posters to put on their best Klan Grand Wizard cosplays and show their goddamned asses, was a white supremacist techtwink with a slipped disc and a socially-murdered mother revenge-killing a CEO?

      I'd have scoffed at you and asked "where do you think we are, lemmy.world?" Some of these crackers'd be a better fit over there.

      I keep thinking about the way one of them kept emphasizing, all through the struggle sesh, how they and 80 other people agreed with someone who genuinely thinks that Black folk should be perfectly fine standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Klansmen. I can't get it out of my head; I genuinely think a lot of these motherfuckers are 'one bad day' from paying dues to David Duke and burning crosses on front lawns at this point.

        love those "akkkshually many people agreed with this, therefore it is correct" comments. You'd think "leftists" from the imperial core & anglo settler colonies would be the people who most instinctively understand that just because lots of (or even most) people think something, that doesn't mean it's the undisputed truth.
