My department is renovating my department's building and apparently one of the changes they're making is turning our gender neutral restrooms into larger gendered restrooms even though literally no one asked for that. Their rationale is "none of the other departments have gender neutral restrooms" 😞

Gender neutral restrooms are good, actually, and the other departments should have them.
If the rest of the department is willing, you all should continue to treat them as gender neutral bathrooms (easier said than done).
I would love to see that happen, but I'm going to be gone from this place by the time the renovations happen
