    Queen did exactly the same thing 10-odd years ago. Crown, golden throne, surrounded by hundreds of millions of pounds of gemstones alone, and declared that families must tighten their budgets and spend less and stop spending 'beyond their means'. Nobody batted an eyelid.

        I vaguely remembered the Piano, but didn't say it because a golden Piano sounds like the product of a fever dream and I assumed it was. Shame on me for underestimating the greed.
