You are correct, it's not "master's suite", it's singular/non-possessive. I've actually never heard the term "master suite", just master bedroom.
how about we call it the landlord's suite and your landlord gets all the rights and access to the biggest room in your home. you can enter the landlord's suite, but only if your landlord gives you explicit permission
no, in this case you will be assigned a landlord even if you're not renting
