NYCHA doesnt even have heat or running water or working stoves but they can afford a robot dog? as someone who grew up in a NYCHA building i am not surprised and honestly true liberation is liberating NYCHA folks who sit at the intersection of mass incarceration, unaffordable housing, health disparities caused by poor conditions, racism, classism, and more.

Take it up an elevator and throw it off the roof. Honestly cannot wait to see all the ways these things can be destroyed.

Some better methods for you, in case you ever wanted to try them in Minecraft.

But if you still want to just yeet it:

Both part of the documented and approved shutdown procedure, Boston Dynamics instructs operators to (after they have used the remote control to power off motors) "Engage the lockout button" and "Power off the robot by pressing and holding the blue button at Spot’s rear for two seconds."

Of course the first place they take this thing is a public housing complex. I wonder why? 🤔

Does the NYPD have a plan for the inevitable class action lawsuit for when kids try to play with it and it pinches their fingers off? I'm not even saying the kids are trying to resist, it's just kids being kids.

The kids will be charged with assaulting a police officer, maybe taken away from their families and IF the lawsuit played out (assuming the family wasn't brutalized out of it by the state), it would be paid by taxpayers. Do you think the rule of law could ever hold police accountable?
