Obama: "Americans must force me to help you"

BLM: "It's not our responsibility to educate you. Mr President"

Does this conversation look like a material class based antagonism to you? Seems more like two sides of the same PMC "community leadership" coin

My understanding is its criticising BLM as being essentially a protest movement integrated into the American political system rather than something that really challenges it, but I don't have enough knowledge on what the divides may be between on the ground organizers and "organizer personalities" or whatever you'd like to call those that get interviewed and actually chat with media and politicians, to really weigh in on how accurate this post is.

BLM is for the most part, pretty decentralized. The national leadership is absolutely captured by the political system, but most locals were organized independently and self fund. The national only recognizes a few branches and only gives those branches money while leaving the rest to fend for themselves for not falling in line.

So criticizing BLM on the whole is dumb, because there are plenty of local branches that are ignored by national because they're more explicitly revolutionary/marxist.
