Tyrant lizard king? No thanks, fuck the monarchy. Spinosaurus is cooler anyway (the modern depictions of him, not the terrible Jurassic Park version).
Did you know a crocodiles tail is just as dangerous at its jaws? That shit is pure muscle for swimming, it can break bones. Big heavy theropods like T. rex are fucked if they get a broken leg.
I prefer herbivorous dinosaurs though. Therozinosaurus is hilarious and I love him.
The change in understanding of dinosaurs since I was a kid makes them so much cooler. The feathers (pseudo feathers? Idk) are badass. When I was a child I wanted to be a paleontologist and that probably would have been a bad career choice but it would have been neat to be on the cutting edge of all the advances in the last few decades
Wow. Same. I wanted to be a paleontologist as well as a kid. I REALLY was huge into dinosaurs as a kid. I have to wonder how my life would look if I would have taken that childhood dream serious. Honestly such a cool job.
we probably both would have been eaten on an island off the coast of costa rica
I always liked the Carnotaurus whith his cute lil baby hands and demon head
ShowThats because you know your favorite dinosaur is STINKY
That therozinasaurus looks like the cashier just got its coffee order wrong but it's too embarrassed to correct them so just stands there hesitating whether to point it out, sweating through a tshirt and a jumper before eventually taking the coffee thanking the barista three times before stumbling on the way out of the cafe before rationalising to themselves that actually, it's okay, they're being adventurous for trying out a new order and a skinny flat white tastes better than a double shot oat milk one and they'll resolve to speak up a bit louder next time and maybe even ask the barista how her day is going.
I had to edit out to anonymise which character I am in this scenario lol (I'm all three)
my favorite is STEGOSAUROUS because i GENUINELY don't understand how it had sex
wot with all those sharp pointy bits
Therizinosaurus has always been my favorite species of nonavian dinosaur.
