The way the US is arming Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, I'm expecting some sort of proxy war to happen soon. I don't think any of them will topple China, and in that situation nukes would be a bad idea as the warring nations are so close that fallout would effect them both.
Should go further back into the 90s or even the 80s. These seeds have long been planted.
I think Covid will be the seen as the straw that broke the camel's back. Like how the assassination of the Arch Duke started WW1, but the seeds were planted wayyyy before that.

Fun fact: Back in the spring of 2020 when there was a shortage of masks China sent masks as aid to many rich EU countries, including my own.
A little while later Italy had a shortage of ventilators and asked their fellow EU countries for help. My country sent Italy a load of military surplus transport ventilators, designed for short time use on healthy individuals, that would have killed covid patients if they had been put into use.
Almost as good as Musk shipping out nebulizers and calling them ventilators.

Seems pretty fucking weak considering China could have used the same justification and didn't.

Probably saying that Pfizer/Moderna are private companies that can do business with whichever countries they want, while the eViL cCp forces sinovac to send vaccines overseas as part of its strategy of vaccine diplomacy.
The defense is going to be to not talk about it and if they have to, do a "uigher genocide, ccp surveillance, chinazis, AUTHORITARIAN!!!" instead.
