"Adventure being chaotic doesn't justify banning it or taking over the world and [bradford buzzard from ducktales 2017] has this big problem that he doesn't get adventuring, so it make his point bad and he's shown to not be a reliable narrator too (like putin who lie A LOT and is not reliable on his deals)"
Literally "pop culture has given me my ideological convictions that designated bad men are ontologically evil and any argument to the contrary is inherently a lie regardless of the facts, I am a very smart and mature person who is worth taking seriously."
I like how most of their posts are in r/ducktales and that cartoon about talking duck children bleeds into their geopolitical analysis. This is an exceptionally normal person with meat in their brain.
Edit: https://old.reddit.com/r/ducktales/comments/17ucoiv/arent_those_heights_off/
https://i.redd.it/gse7dtyfv1k41.jpg It's weird because they feel much taller in the show. Magica doesn't look like she's 1m30 and lunaris look like he's a giant, not 1m50. also, the lines on that chart aren't consistent so I don't think it's legit their height. Someone on the reddit thread remarked they shrunked lunaris and I agree, he already looked much taller than donald or glomgold. https://old.reddit.com/r/ducktales/comments/fbt1rf/it_probably_means_nothing_but_one_can_hope/ I don't think that promo chart is canon to the show, the ducks being 1m50/70 seems more reasonable since they're shown to be closer to human height in quackpack. Also,it would make beakley 1m50 too, wich is weird seeing how massive she look in the show
wat
Tankiejerk sub
Only one hit for "hexbear"
You losers need to post harder
well it's not fair when they never leave their bubbles and they don't even know what they mean by 'tankie'
Guy who has only ever seen DuckTales:
Guys, these other guys are just like the Beagle Boys
The Racoons was eco anticapitalist af and Run With US by Lisa Longheed is a massive massive jam.
Someone should tell them that it's very common for authors to articulate their opinions through the villain
The most frustrating thing about tankiejerk is that they sometimes almost get it. Like yeah, tankies defending "evil dictators" who have no reason to ever be evil dictators is strange. Why could it possibly be that someone would support a pointlessly evil dictator? Why is it that every tankie dictator is always pointlessly, cartoonishly evil in the western press? They're just so damn close to figuring it out!
It's got David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck. It wasn't for me, but it seemed decent.
[bradford buzzard from ducktales 2017] has this big problem that he doesn't get adventuring
Noooooo the wholesome chungus billionaire adventurers are misunderstood
