"So are you Chinese or Japanese?"

"I lived in California the last 20 years, but first I came from Laos"

    "Huh?"

    "Laos, we're Laotian"

    "The ocean? Which ocean?"

"We are Laotian! From Laos stupid!" It's a landlocked country in Southeast Asia. It's between Vietnam and Thailand; population 4.7 million."

"So... are you Chinese or Japanese?"

Whats your favorite episode? Can you recommend one? (I hated the show as a kid but want to give it another try)

Oh man I didn't see your comment until now. I highly recommend "A Firefighting We Will Go (S03E10)," "Three Coaches and a Bobby (S03E10)," "Dog Dale Afternoon (S03E20)," "The Perils of Polling (S05E01)," and "Bobby Goes Nuts (S06E1)." Those are my favorites for different reasons.

I liked it as a kid, but mostly because as one of those weirdos who always listened to Coast to Coast AM, Dale was uniquely amusing to me

literally same. it used to be like the first thing that signaled the end of fox kids in the morning if i remember correctly and i was always mad at it for that.

But if you stay in texas long enough you will meet people with qualities of every single character in that show. Like my step aunt is literally peggy. She tried to pass off like she knows shit about spanish to me even one day lol.

"The USAF dropped more bombs on Laos, primarily the Plain of Jars, than it dropped during the whole of World War II. This included 262 million anti-personnel cluster bombs. An estimated 80 million of these did not explode and remain a deadly threat to the population"

The allies together dropped 3.5 million tons during WW2 while the US dropped 2.5 million tons on Laos. 7.5 million tons total on Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos as well

The large quantity of unexploded bombs in the area, especially cluster munitions, limits free movement. Evidence of the bombing raids can be seen in the form of broken or displaced jars and bomb craters. Sightseeing on the Plain of Jars can only be done safely on cleared and marked pathways. "
