Guy performs a one-man military intervention on behalf of the Walton family, potentially kills a person over petty property, but gets ventilated instead by other property warriors :che-laugh:

So many people have power fantasy of being the "good guy with a gun" and having some heroic moment. It's scary

It's a wildly stupid one too because the people most likely to have that fantasy are cop worshippers and the cops will immediately shoot you if you've got a gun out in any situation like that.

I think it's fitting that a wanna be pig was killed by one of his idols

I guess I'm just pessimistic and I can see a flood of libs and chuds using it to say "Look cops DO protect people even those bad shoplifters who are really at fault!"

True but the cops rolled up on the scene and shot (from what I can gather was) a black man holding people at gunpoint, no mention that any verbal exchange was made between them. I doubt they would have been so swift to execute a white guy in the same circumstances.

    suspected shoplifters

Suspected, so he didn't even fully confirm they did anything before he brought out a fucking gun over petty theft.

    Idiot got what he deserved.

Edit: I didn't know the full context. Sorry.

The whole thing is a lot more messy. The thing that gives me pause is the bodycam footage. The cop rolled up and shot the dude almost instantly without knowing what was going on. The guy holding a gun on people for supposedly shoplifting is also in the wrong but I can't help but also think of that bouncer that got shot subduing an assailant. Like I said everyone here is partly at fault except for the alleged shoplifters.

Now you can say "well he had people at gunpoint" but I also doubt the cops would have acted without hesitation if he was white.

Counter-point: The other guy was basically a cop, and cops aren't real people. This is just cop-on-cop violence.

So... if there are infinite cops with guns, shooting at infinite people... they're bound to shoot a baddie at some point right?

Everyone bringing a gun into the situation did the wrong thing.

    This shouldn't surprise anyone.
