Honestly pretty funny bit though. Drop a horrible hot take and then lock the replies when you get mad that people call you out on your horrible hot take. I think I might steal that bit idea

Their most infamous bit is actually the fact that there is no bit in the name

Most people get caught up in the drama of the replies, it take a true visionary to drop a horrendous steamer and then just walk out of the room. Be that visionary.

Sr. Fellow @ManhattanInst Sen. Portman chief economist (2011-17), DC think tanker (2001-11), budget policy for 4 prez campaigns. Independent. Tweets mine.🏳️‍🌈

When an economist opens their mouth, everyone should be legally required to scream at them until they shut up. An endless chorus of screams like a Ligeti composition which only grows as more people hear it.

It should be physically loud enough that it's like diving with sperm whales. All of society coming together for a psychic attack strong enough to rupture organs.

That people like this have any influence in DC should be a sign to baby leftists that reforming from the inside is damn near impossible when even the outer circles of Washington are full of people like this.

I only know LBJ from his part in helping install the military dictatorship in Brazil. What else did he do?

he happened to be the one in office when the Civil Rights Act was passed here in the USA, so we ("progressives" in general) are expected to treat him like a Good Guy

he also started US involvement in the vietnam war because he was a huge anticommunist piece of shit

he got harassed daily by crowds of people outside the white house chanting "hey hey LBJ how many kids did you kill today" because of that

        started US involvement

shouldn't let off Truman, Eisenhower and Kennedy on involvement in Vietnam

Yeah he certainly ramped up the war (he didn't want his brain splattered on a car like his predecessor) but yeah the US was actually involved since the french Indochina war
