I think you're right that they won't do anything to him. They're all crooked and don't want to be held accountable for their crimes, or set the precedent that they could be at least.
HOWEVER, I could see them doing it as a warning shot to outsiders. It can't feel good for all these DC dweebs that sold their souls to live in a swamp for years all to climb the political ladder, then out of nowhere this absolute clown comes from almost nowhere to become president. Tbf I think most of the charges Trump is facing are gonna be NY state charges, and Biden can't do anything about those.
