Serious question - what could they even impeach him for that would actually get him removed

The only thing the Republicans would ever remove him for would be if they thought he was actively working against them

It would be some situation where voting Trump out actually helped them win re-election. Going against him is political suicide for most Republicans right now, nothing else matters.

    The 2020 ballot consists of:

Voter Interference v. COVID Death Toll

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Will more chuds die of covid than libs will be allowed to vote?
Find out in just a couple short months!

Is it fucked that I basically just find it funny how blatant this is? I’m so checked out of electoral politics (especially in the states, I’m not a yank) that this is just a stupid tv show at this point. I guess I’m joker pilled 🤡

What can the Democrats do here, really? There's no mechanism for stopping a president who will just blatantly break the law with his party lined up behind him. It's a failure of the Constitution more than anything.

I don't see any obvious solution that they just aren't doing for some reason.

Organize beyond electoralism. They could call on their base to do direct action.

          The same as most orgs.

But it hurts their power, as it shows that work outside electoralism effects chance. So they'll never do that.

Direct action like...? There's a big difference between (rightly) saying we need something other than electoralism and identifying what that something is. Are we going to occupy post offices from now until Election Day? Are we going to call on the National Guard to do that? Is a country that easily fell in line behind Biden going to sign up if they start planning an armed insurrection?

If there's a workable plan they're ignoring that's one thing, but I don't see any clear path forward. Every option is bad and could easily make the situation worse.

Sounds like "we've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas," to be honest.

For starters, they could encourage Mass demonstrations against defunding. It's literally one of the first steps in opposing something outside of voting.

There are any of a hundred other things they could do, but they don't.

Republicans were never going to remove Trump from office through impeachment. The libs were silly to play that card on Hunter Fucking Biden, but it wouldn't have taken Trump out whenever they played it.

Shits wild. Can we get some of those election inspectors like they send to Venezuela and Boliva? Y'know. The ones who said Morales and Maduro ran fair elections. Would be hilarious to watch them BTFO us.

trump winning the popular vote too would be hilarious ngl, and might well be the thing to finally radicalise the libs out of believing in electoralism.
