When I’m feeling doomer I kind of rationalise and try to “hope” for a future where leftists can rebuild a better society in the ashes of this one after climate catastrophe. And with the current hegemonic power seemingly teetering on its last legs, maybe those ashes will come soon enough that we can even avoid the most catastrophic scenarios, even if things are fucked, and this planet will still be habitable for humanity and animals
