Start viewing social democrat politicians as useful for getting broader societal discussions going around policies that might help the working class some and nothing more than that, and you'll be a lot less disappointed in the future.

I want to view them as exactly who the DSA should disown and if they're not disowning we need to change the org

I did think that, but the imperialist bullshit makes them way more useful to the destruction of actual socialism than they could ever be to progress here

This. Just adds to the stigma surrounding socialism and continues to give the right material to work with ie: have you seen what socialism has done Kooba and Vuvuzela?

The imperial core is never going to fall if socialism isn't supported abroad. The more socialist nations there are abroad to challenge imperialism the harder it will be for the imperial core to sustain itself.

This was the duty that (when it was not just an FBI front) CPUSA and its ilk so wonderfully carried out. They fucking dedicated themselves to being a means to promote and support revolution elsewhere, from the imperial core. They knew they could never do shit electorally, or even much organizing locally once the 50s turned around and everything was proven to be infiltrated. The one thing you can do is support the struggle of others, and if you cannot do that, if you cannot show basic solidarity with the one successful leftist revolution in our side of the equator, then you are the enemy.

No light improvement in america is worth extinguishing the fire of actual revolution. El Che in death is worth an infinite amount of AOCs and Bernies.

It doesn't matter if it is Cuba or if it is Catalonia. If it is revolutionary, the imperial machine will apply its exorbitant superprofits towards crushing it. You have the choice of being a cog in the global market hegemony, or being placed under siege. As long as imperialism continues - as long as capital must force its way into every nook and cranny - revolutionary states will be forced to operate under siege conditions.

The empire literally looks at these states like dominoes. The only thing they are interested in doing is toppling one after another after another. They put billions into Guaido, they did that coup in Bolivia. They just overruled the Haitian constitution to give the guy another year in office just to shoot him after six months. Now they're pressing Cuba. This shit is all connected. It is all a pattern. A procedure. A thing that we need to interrupt, not feed into.

Oh yeah no argument from me, this might be the worst take I've seen from her.

Broader societal discussions about helping the working class are garbage without a global perspective

Any sort of discussions about what would help the American working class without a discussion of global imperialism is completely divorced of context at best
