If you don't know, Matthew Warren Heimbach is an American white nationalist and neo-Nazi who tried to form alliances with other far-right groups. In 2018, Heimbach briefly served as community outreach director for the National Socialist Movement

In 2018, Heimbach was pushed out of the TWP after attacking his wife and his father-in-law in front of his children in a domestic dispute. After which he attempted to work his way into a local DSA chapter.

    Jesus, what?

I didn’t understand exactly how fascism was a response to liberal capitalism until I read about Strasser or about Mussolini’s Class Collaborationism. Put that together with how hard the populist unity crowd has been grifting since Biden got elected and I now 100% get how people can just let fascists gain power.

I think it’s going to become increasingly important for us to understand antifascist history and communist theory if we want to resist infiltration by not only feds, but by nazis

Yeah for sure. I can easily see a future where someone like Tucker Carlson can be advocating socialism for whites only. This Heimbach guy just seems like a dingus though who wears his fascism on his sleeve and reaches for the meme ideology of Nazbolism.

The Strasser bit was from a Tom Nicholas video that I did some googling about afterwards. Strasser was a Nazi who represented the left wing of the party before Hitler consolidated power. He was the one who recruited Goebbels. He supposedly would have actually pushed to see more worker organization within the party (of course a very narrow definition of worker) but he was purged in the Night of the Long Knives.

The class collaborationism was a straight up part of Mussolini’s writings that I read a bit about after a fascist caught me not knowing that Mussolini was a labor organizer earlier in life. He basically took a look at class divisions and said no these are part of human nature so the classes should do their best to reinforce the natural hierarchy because it’s mutually beneficial
