a jew in germany wouldnt say "my life isn't being threatened" thats sorta my point. The post implies that "nations" are the only geographical unit that affects your day to day life. It isn't. This kind of galaxy-brained nonsense is for liberals.

You realize trans folks safely live in a whole lot of places in the US, in fact more places than they could 10 years ago. Transphobia is a violent meme that the right is using and it needs to be taken seriously, that doesn't mean you have to accept the thousand other flawed premises involved in a "which country is right for my vibes" discussion.

To the nearest, safest place. That'll be with a friend or family member that you trust and cares about you. This isn't a bourne movie. This is real life and it works a certain way. Starting a whole new life because of a future legislative nightmare just doesn't make practical sense.

Seriously your entire post is built on this premise: if I'm scared the only way to change that is to change my citizenship and leave everything I've ever known.

You've built your worldview on reactionary pundits.

Here's the problem with everything you're saying. You're pretending borders are a real thing. Capital and people are the only thing that's real. Based on the global economy being run by a handful of countries that hate trans people, thats just the going to the be how the world works. You're just doing liberal identity politics right now. "I need to find the right trans country for this trans person" thats fucking nuts. OP will be in danger if they're poor and safe if they're rich. Being trans in an aggressively transphobic society is a factor but no where near as a big a safety factor as personal wealth.

If you don't want things to get worse, do something to make them get better. Every other 'angle' here is just immature and reactionary.

                  another country

stop pretending that 'nation' is a reasonable unit of measurement for geography. be smarter.

You think all of ANY country is the same in terms of safety? You think there's any country that doesn't have transphobic violence? And you don't think every country has communities where trans people are welcomed and safe? You have cable news brain. You can't think outside the concept of nationalism. Nations aren't real and corporations aren't people. Stop letting losers frame the discussion. If your community isn't safe, find a safer community.

But all of this is just childish, class-blind identity politics. If OP is wealthy, they'll be safe. If OP is poor, they probably aren't safe regardless of gender/gender identity.
