Uyghur genocide continually proven a myth by reality

Some YouTube video popped up on my feed today entitled something like “look inside China’s secretative Olympic gymnastics training camps”. As if USAG isnt known all around the world for harboring a doctor who sexually abused hundreds of gymnastics and for allowing physical and mental abuse for decades just to win medals.

This is a fantastic point, too bad it's a WHATABOUTISM

No no, there's a big difference. You see, when an American wins gold, it's because they've BEEN TRAINING ALL THEIR LIFE. When a Chinese person wins gold, it's because they WERE FORCED TO TRAIN FROM A YOUNG AGE.

I never thought that open and proud hypocrisy would make such a strong comeback, but by god the libs have done it. The Republicans have moved onto to open fascism and the Democrats have become the Republicans they hated 20 years ago. Somebody taught them about Whataboutism and it was the blanket they needed to protect their own hypocrisy while they have temper tantrums online about the Russians and Chinese.

It was Chris Hedges who said, paraphrasing, the republicans went so far right they became fascists while the democrats became republicans.

for what it's worth, I don't think that exactly disproves anything. the US has black and latine athletes, doesn't mean shit about how the government treats the larger group. there also have been native American Olympians too

The Libs think there’s like a full scale Holocaust style genocide going with death camps and everything. This doesn’t disprove that Uyghurs are disenfranchised or mistreated as a minority, but it put holes in the “literally Holocaust 2.0” narrative.

moving the goal posts? what? I'm just saying this does not disprove there is a genocide as is being claimed. I am pro China and do not think there is a genocide at all, that doesn't mean I have to think this is a good point to refute the western claims. cool your jets and go look for a fight elsewhere fam, you're reading way too much into my post

that is an absurd point. not saying every single possible defence of the PRC is logically sound does not mean 'moving the goal posts' to argue an attack on the Uyghur people. go get mad in somebody elses inbox

yeah I wouldn't exactly put something like this on the big list of debunks.

right, like I'm glad they get to represent their country and hope they do well. but this does not mean that "Uyghur genocide continually proven a myth by reality"
