Imagine this ad but the brother is coming back from France. Sister offers to make him a sandwich and takes out a pack of Kraft singles to which brother goes "Ahhhh. Real cheese."

Growing up in a totally broken and fucked up family, I had no idea if this was how regular folk got along with each other. I remember seeing the commercial, but never wondering if bro and sis made a love connection or not. Watching it now it's like, "woah Dad, I think he's going to pork her."

Apparently the woman in the commercial is daughter of Star Trek Guest Star Legend Jeffrey Combes

Mom and dad wont be awake for at least another hour. They got really drunk last night. Let's go to the basement couch and I can say I was helping you wrap presents.

This doesn’t read to me as romantic or sexual but I can see how it might to others

Its the longing looks in the facial expressions I think.

There's people saying on twitter that people only see this because of Pornhub brain but people had this reaction at the time so I dont think so.

Hey! I’m old! I remember seeing this commercial live on TV. I remember being confused about whether they were sibling or bf/gf. Had to see it a few more times before I was sure they were written as siblings. Still got a weird vibe from it. Years later when I first heard of the “Folgers incest commercial” I knew exactly what was being talked about. This was definitely something at the time people were talking about.

Old and can corroborate. We made fun of it when I was like 12 or so when it aired.

Did not catch this. Guess I don’t recognize that gesture. TIL

I mostly agree but I got some mildly sexual vibes from the part where she goes down on him and starts slobbering his fat hog.

I get what you're saying. I personally think the commercial's odd but get way more creeped out by the internet's unironic obsession with incest media (incest porn, incest fan-fic, incest memes).

True, people laugh at this but then cum non-stop to step-son getting seduced by step-mom and step-sister getting jealous and deciding to make it a threesome and then dad comes home and bangs all of them in the ass porn.

We all get what's going on. It's weird. No story is better at that point.

What was up with the late 2000's and early 2010's? Like I remember there being a glut of incest anime around that time too.

This ad is the reason porn sites are filled with stepwhatever videos
