    What's crazy to me is that you see people, even those that disagree with the artists, (even saw some examples here) say that even if they disagree, that the art is good. And I'm like ??? because, to me, this art style is legitimately ugly. It's all watery and blobby and with just blocks of color, and the expressions are so inhuman.

    It's reminds of Junji Ito's art, but at least he's in the business of making unsettling art. Idk, I'm not an art critic, but to me this art is not good.

      I liked the art style at first, but every one of his comics looks the exact same. Very little breadth

        he draws people- often children- screaming, and he draws them VERY well, but that's all he does. all he knows how to do is attempt to elicit a very base reaction, literally using pearl-clutching "think of the children" bullshit in art form.

      it looks ok, like the guy is better when drawing monsters, but his humans look basic

      It's definitely a matter of taste but also consider the competition when it comes to political cartoons
