Broke: not wanting a second lockdown to protect the economy

Woke: wanting a second lockdown to protect lives

Bespoke: wanting a second lockdown so you can vibe inside and play videogames while "working from home"

How satisfying is it that you can just kill everyone in that game? Sure, the way you can always technically complete the story is a bit contrived but it works.

The essential tag killed the fun of Bethesda games. Try and do a fun massacre and you just see like three people in a downed pose at the centre of a nuke you just set off.

It's not like the excuse of "what if a random animal kills a quest person" works because there's literally a protected tag that means that the NPC can only be killed by the player.

There's a lot of worrying that players will somehow ruin the game by messing around in it.

The thing is though, how many people genuinely fucked up the New Vegas storyline despite everyone being killable?

Let people fail things. Let people not experience everything in one playthrough.

literally buy a bus ticket and go to a legal state for a day trip. Stock up and return to your rural habitat with bags of fun.

        legal state

I think I'd have to drive through about 5 whole countries to get to somewhere with legal weed lmao, and i'm not sure the border police would like me too much on the way back. I should be staying in a city again in a few months and i'll be able to find something there. Until then, :doomjak:

Or plant some herb out in the boonies. Depending on local climate, of course, but it's a hardy plant.

If it makes you feel better, everyone rushed the dispensaries here and I had to beg the budguvnahs for mids like Oliver Twist. It took months for the $100 ounce to return.

Depending on where you're at you might be able to find Delta-8 over the counter at a smoke/vape shop. The pen caps are even at gas stations by me.

If there's a second lockdown I'm just going to keep hanging out with my friends. yeah I'll mask and use hand sanitizer but it's become clear that I mostly sacrificed my mental health while some dirtbag kept taco bell open and that's how the virus was spreading, not me seeing people I care about.

There is no finishing BOTW, just finishing the stuff you feel like doing. I am NOT doing side quests that don't give me a shrine and no one can make me. Keep your rupees, I have an unlimited supply and all I need to buy are arrows.

I hated the Divine Beasts, they're all the same puzzle gimmick and it's one I happen to fucking suck at. I just used a guide to get through them as quick as possible. Shrines for pretty underwhelming once you get stamina maxed and can't get one hit by anything since you can just eat to heal any time. Hopefully the next one tightens things up, and adds real dungeons. It was their first go at an open world game and I think they nailed it for the most part and can forgive the shortcomings easier as long as they fix that shit in the next one. But it's Nintendo, so I'm not sure they'll learn or have even listened to any criticisms at all

Yeah, a lot of shrine puzzles were a joke and then some were absolutely esoteric. I liked all the cool open ended physics stuff for general exploration but not so mu h with puzzles. Led to me having to figure out what the puzzle even was before trying to solve it.

I'm not big on Dark Souls, but a big thing BOTW needs to do is not make clicking the right stick turn on your binoculars. I click it so much by accident when trying to move the camera and fight at the same time, go into dirt person, get walloped and have to repeat the process to try to fight crowds.

I feel like BOTW2 should really just be a new map and fixing all the little bullshit things with BOTW like balancing durability and weapons management a bit better, nerfing cooking and shit like that along with some more traditional dungeons. The first game was clearly a bit of an experiment, just fix that stuff and it's fine. My prediction is Nintendo will do one of these things and introduce a while slew of new weird experimental shit cause they're Nintendo and they can't just make an improvement on something they have to go fucking sideways
