For what 5+ decades the US has shouted about free markets, and exported austerity and deregulation all over the world through the IMF, WTO and EU. All of that work has been revealed as a lie as plain as day for all to see.
The Chinese will take these minor hits while Trump just keeps on shooting US foreign policy in the foot. Meanwhile China will continue to sign trade deals with countries, building their One Belt One Road initiative, and the US slides further and further into irrelevance.
As US Capital starts consuming the wealth inside America, the US will loose even more of its purchasing power and the economic center of the world will shift towards the east.
