I think that Contrapoints breakdown about Christine's pronouns is probably the best.

"Is ChrisChan really trans? I don't know. And I don't care. If Chris Chan wants to be a woman then I support her journey"

Like the fact that she's trans should be like a non-issue considering what's being alleged from leaked texts and the audio where she admits to an incestuous "relationship" with her mother. And considering that her mother is suspected heavily of having some form of dementia....the allegations point towards this being a case of elder abuse, rape and incest :-I which in my mind is more important to focus on (as far as weirdo niche internet spectacles go) that oh no someone is trans .

Idk this is all bad , and theres no one good at all involved in this, from the weirdo observers to the (alleged) incestuous rapist and I can't help but feel this is gonna get boosted by transphobes to paint a broad brush on trans people as a whole which makes me really pissed.

I wish I could just take the MIB memory eraser, point at my face and remove all knowledge of Chris Chan and this stupid "saga". Or maybe just erase all the jackasses with way too much time on their hands who willed this awful decades long spectacle into existence

Honestly with what we've seen of Chris Chan before and her likely history of being abused for a lot of her life, it's easy to see the story being true but also just not being a thing in her head too. Abuse can really fuck you up if it happens in your formative years.

I saw this a while ago, this artist I was following posted some reddit thing about this drama with a trans woman working for reddit, and he kept using they/them for her because he was clearly uncomfortable with gendering her correctly, it was very disappointing to see.

I genuinely want this person's existence wiped out of my skull. Everything about Chris-chan makes me terribly upset. A sensible society would have put her into psychiatric care decades ago. Instead, we have a monument to the cruelty of internet bullying, a burned down house, and a horrifying existential dread inducing elder abuse case.

I'm genuinely chilled to the bone about everything involved here. I can barely even apply a moral framework to it. No one seems good. It all reeks of evil and desperation. I hope God is real so when I die I can beg at his feet to somehow erase all these moments from history.

There's no jokey haha stuff involved here at all anymore for me. Every single time I've seen the name "Chris-chan" over the past 13 years a piece of my soul rots off and I smell my own grave edging closer. May god have mercy on all of us.

"Yeah, so I'm all for trans rights, but I don't think you deserve to be called by your proper pronouns like I pretend I would do for others, so I will compromise and call you 'them' instead of 'him'"

There's not much to discuss. She's obviously extremely unwell and should not be left alone but none of that excuses misgendering her.

The thing is, we don;t actually need to discuss it. She did something awful, and she is now separated from her victim. We do not need to get involved or talk about it. It does not really have anything to do with us, and is just bad for the mental health of everyone involved.

If chrischan wasn't trans this site would be eating her up. I mean all the shit about her being a racist, misogynist, homophobe still exists. I feel like the left wing would be bashing on Christine if there was no transition. Does her being trans absolve her of her crimes? Or should we not talk about what she did because she's trans?

Is Chris-Chan actually trans? I thought the transition was made to pick up girls or something like that. Used to read about Chris-Chan out of morbid curiosity and wish I never did.

TLDR: mentally ill person who is possibly the most well-documented person in history and should have received help long ago raped their dementia ridden mother multiple times since June
