The art on the album cover is a painting called Landscape With Graves by Caspar David Friedrich, a famous German painter who was beloved by Nazis.

You've probably seen this painting before by the same guy. I've seen a lot of twitter Nazis using this painting.

The alternative album cover that he released was a Reichsadler, double-headed eagle crest.

Kanye held a concert on December 11 in Miami. He performed on stage in black-colored Klansman robe. There was at least a few right-wing grifters (Adin Ross, Sneako, etc) in the crowd.

He's announced that his new album is being released on this Friday. The pre-order is already on iTunes. I'm not sure if it actually will be release on Friday, he has a tendency to delay releases.

From what I have observed, Kanye is still being antisemitic. Baked Alaska posted a photo of them together on December 10. It is very likely that the album will be antisemitic and contain far-right messaging.

I'm worried that the album will be received positively by the hip hop community. If Kanye becomes popular again, it could normalize his cryptic love for Hitler.

this would track with the current efforts in the West to rehabilitate the Nazis in culture.

The West is currently trying to claim that everyone except nazis are antisemitic. Truly the Goebbelsian Big Lie of our era.

Wanderer above the sea of fog is such a famous painting it's typically used as a literal textbook example of the romanticist movement. As in it is in children's textbooks. It's as much of a fascist dogwhistle as Michelangelos David is. Kanye is a fascist independent of this

Context, no? One, it’s not wanderer, it’s a different more obscure work, two, in an art textbook vs on a Hitler Fan’s album cover obv have distinct connotations

The accusation here is that the painting is one made by the same artist as one popular with nazis (Wanderer above the sea of fog). But that painting is just fucking popular. It's like THE painting for when you need to show Romantic art. The actual context is what I'm pointing out and why the point is silly.

I described something that was my own personal experience. I did not say that every person who references the artist is white supremacist. Kanye went on Alex Jones and said that he likes Hitler on the show. If you're still defending Kanye at this point, then you need help.

The dude said "I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE." Kanye went on Tucker Carlson and was so antisemitic that Tucker Carlson edited the interview to make Kanye seem less antisemitic. Kanye went on Alex Jones's show after the Tucker Carlson interview because he believed that Tucker censored him.

The guy who says "I like Hitler", creates an album cover by with a painting by German Artist who is known for promoting German Nationalism during his life and whose artwork was used by Nazis to promote Blood and Soil after his death. It must be a coincidence. The guy who likes Hitler is using imagery previously used to promote German Nationalism. What a coincidence.

My post is meant to provide evidence that Kanye has not changed his political views. This may be obvious to you but there are a lot of people currently on reddit and twitter who are saying that Kanye is not antisemitic and trying to rehabilitate his image. It may be obvious to you, then my post is not for you. Not everything is for you.

I also said that Kanye was spotted on December 10 spending time with Baked Alaska, a known white supremacist who livestreamed at the January 6 insurrection. Also today, Sneako, a far-right internet video creator, who was banned from youtube for threatening to sexually assault a woman, released a video saying that he is now employed by Kanye. Sneako has been employed by Kanye in the past as well.

For the record. I also criticized Kanye on Hexbear when he was doing White Lives Matters things and meeting with Candace Owens.

You are arguing in bad faith. You have other posts in the thread saying that you want to continue listening to Kanye and you don't care that he's a Nazi. You're just saying this to because you don't want people to think he's a Nazi so you can keep listening to him.

The final cover art was revealed on December 12, 2023, by Ty Dolla Sign in an Instagram post.[33] Writing for HipHopDX, Sam Moore described the cover as being "linked to Nazism", noting Friedrich's status as a favorite artist of Adolf Hitler; Moore further observed that the cover's typography was reminiscent of that used by Burzum, a black metal band founded by the neo-Nazi Varg Vikernes.[29] The Burzum comparison and Hitler's adoration of Friedrich was also reported on by The Guardian and The Independent.[30][34]

It's not something that I made up or inferred myself. It was reported by multiple news outlets. Sometimes the curtains are not just blue.
