To those wondering: Not only does it have COPIOUS nudity, but there is even a joke where they are taking john silver to see the "infamous Blackbeard" and in reality they are taking him to see a large working girl with a massive, dark bush (a pretty good joke imo, bit this show is definitely 'boobieprop' as one user phrased it)
Some of the best/most realistic depictions of naval combat of the era too. Great character development as well
I would agree with this. The middle parts were some of the best television I ever watched! The beginning was a little ham handed by comparison for sure, and while the end didn't feel sloppy I just think it struggled to live up to the legendary middle bit.
It's hard to end something that good I guess.
